Longdendale trail Peak District walks

THE LONGDENDALE TRAIL

A firm walking holiday favourite, this gentle walk follows an old railway line along the beautiful chain of reservoirs in the Longdendale valley. This is a family friendly walk with options to make it as long or as short as you like.

SWALLOWS WOOD VIA DEVIL'S BRIDGE

One of our favourite Peak District holiday walks takes you through nearby fields, over a brook via Devil's Bridge and into Swallows Wood. The walk comes out by Arnfield Reservoir where you can stop at the cafe and then loop back to the house.
